John Bannon just called me with news of a juvenile white winged black tern at Crosby marina....
....it may occasionally go to places that are now out of bounds if you know what I mean, but has been feeding over the little boating lake at the top of the marina too.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies....
PS _ tomorrow's DP column is all about ospreys and raptor migration _ I should have written about terns by the looks of things!
