Posted by on December 8, 2005 5:58 AM |

A big peregrine, presumably a female, came batting north over the Pier Head just after first light yesterday.

Judging by the purpose of its flight I'd say it was concentrating on a pigeon snack around the old Stanley Dock Tobacco Warehouse _ it was probably one of the pair there.
Good to see nonetheless.

Ainsdale beach or Crosby Marine Park are usually the best places to look these days.
