With all the usual suspects still in place yesterday I may mooch on down to North Wales this weekend, after weeks of resisting the charms of Conway and Llanfairfechan....
Apart from the stuff that's making it onto brdline each day, I guess a few Fulmars should be back on the coast, and the Hawfinches in the Conway Valley are always fun to hunt for, especially as there's a really good pub nearby.
Talking of distractions from birding, a big "Howdy" with a capital F to whoever tried to link the 'blog to a Japanese "celebrity porn" site yesterday _ it certainly made a change from the usual messages I get, although I'm not entirely sure what the relevance to gull identification at Otterspool or goose numbers on the mosses maybe....
Still, anyone who has enough time on their hands to root this type of stuff out on the internet, has probably mastered the complexities of Caspian Gull i.d. long ago.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies....
PS My Daily Post column tomorrow is about snowdrops, peacock butterflies and geese.....roll on May!!
