A pair of Common Buzzards were displaying in blue skies over Ince Blundell woods yesterday afternoon as I tootled home...
They really seem to be well established in Merseyside/SWLancs now, although what Ince Blundell's Grey Herons think of the new arrivals is anyone's guess.

The Ring Billed Gulls are playing hide and seek at Crosby Marina still _ a better bet maybe the car park at Hall Road coastguards at first light, where one of 'em at least seems pretty regular.
