Scaup shot ALMOST in focus....

Posted by on February 28, 2006 1:20 PM |

Got this pic of the adult male scaup on the Sandplant lagoons while digi-scoping at Marshside over the weekend.
Adult scaup

Thanks to everyone who is coaching me thro the "very basic digi-scoping for idiots" learning curve I am currently climbing (especially Neill Hunt and Steve Young).
As Steve says: "Almost...but if it had been a single observer Lesser Scaup it would have done nicely!
"Had a second yr male Marsh Harrier there last weekend, plus male Hen and the
4 Scaup...all in focus...!"
For more on the Scaup, see my Daily Post column this Saturday.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies....

The only birds I can really be sure of are blue tits, robins and sparrows. The pics are great, well done.
