The ECHO carried a story last week about plans down at the docks to relax some of the "anti-terror" access rules that effectively made getting to Seaforth way too much hassle for normal mortals.

I've had loads of Grey Wagtails flying over Dempsey Towers, but this afternoon my first bird "on the deck" wandered up the garden path....

Bill Merriman just e-mailed me from Childwall where he had five Redwings in his garden while clearing the snow yesterday _ winter doesn't want to make way for the Swallows just yet!
