The ECHO carried a story last week about plans down at the docks to relax some of the "anti-terror" access rules that effectively made getting to Seaforth way too much hassle for normal mortals.
Good news when it happens _ but I haven't heard of any change in access yet _ you still need to e-mail to apply for a permit, say when you're coming, what colour socks you have on etc etc
I'll let you know if I get more details _ especially as it's nearly Little Gull time now.
Meanwhile, if anyone hears more, please use the comment thingy at the end of this piece.
Still there's alway Crosby Marina or beach, where Little Gulls should be seen in a week or two, and the Ring Billed Gull and Med Gulls put in regular appearances.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies.....

Thanks to Rob Bourne for getting back to me on this one _ the official line from the Seaforth reserve is still that visitors need to get permission before going, seven days in advance.
E-mail swhite@lwildlife.cix.co.uk and include names of people coming, car details and time/date of visit to get your permit to Neverland sorted out!
The reserve prefers e-mail applications, but you can phone on 0151 920 3769 (as a last resort).
