
Okay, the woods, or rather forests, were in Latvia and the birding was stunning with eight species of woodpecker, including this Middle Spotted above and the mythical White Backed, Lesser Spotted Eagle, epic Spring migration at Cape Kolka, and loads more besides....I'll do a trip report and gallery in the next day or two....but what a BRILLIANT country for birding!!!
