Hi, Where these Pinkfeet seen in flight? the reason I ask is there have been several Pinkfeet at Martin Mere all summer, mostly injured birds which are unable to fly. It's a good early date if the sighting was of newly arrived birds.
Regards John.
P.S. The blogs great!

Glad you like the blog guys....the pinkies arrived midweek, they weren't the injured/feral ones that hang around the mere all year, and Si Glynn had a few out a Marshside a day or so earlier.
Last week in August has been usual arrival date for the first few pioneering birds pushing down from Iceland, for the last few years now - and they'd have been helped down by the north westerlies earlier this week.
