Peregrines on the Gasometer

Falcon and tiercel were hunched up out of the rain on Southport's Gasometer yesterday, the female looked decidedly snooty as I tried to take substandard pictures of her.
She might think she's the business, but wait until a real Gyrfalcon comes thro' one day (I can dream can't I?)
Tiercel was perched about 50 foot above her and out of range from the ground, great birds - if only the Ravens were still around to tease them here, now that's what I call entertainment.

Eyes to the skies everybody, eyes to the skies....
PS: Flock of 30 Golden Plovers south over Dempsey Towers at 6pm tonight, then veering east towards the mosses. Goldcrest, Robins, Coal Tits etc in garden.
