Si Glinn got this good pic of a Peregrine down on the marsh this weekend - the reason it's looking so shifty is that its got a freshly caught Teal hidden in the silverweed there.
Si got a good shot of one of the Curlew Sandpipers too......

Nice pics Simon!

Out on the mosses latest records from Derek Williams at Downholland include:
Buzzard 7 (there were 15 last month)
Red Legged Partridge 75 (outnumbering Greys by about 4:1)
Pied Wagtail 28
Pink Feet 600+ (29.9.06)
Canada Geese 23
Mute Swan 2
Rooks 9 (3.10.06 + 1 the following day)
Jackdaws 86
Kingfisher (m) Rough Brook, Moss Bridge II.

Pinkies are finally starting to call over Dempsey Towers in the evening on the way out to roosting on the estuary, so I guess it's time to get out looking for Redwings....
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies.....
