Lazy (or sneaky) sprawk

Thanks to Andy Bate's dad Paul, who took this pic of a female sprawk in their back garden in Southport.
Andy explains:
"Just thought I would send you this photo of a Sparrowhawk that visited the garden on Sunday, after an unsuccessful first pass of the garden it decided to come back and try a different technique, sitting in amongst all the feeders for a good 20mins before finally realising that the finches and tits could actually see it after all!!!!!!!
Perhaps it thought if it stayed still long enough know one would know it was there!!
Sorry about the photo, I was out and my dad grabbed my camera to capture the
moment, not a bad effort especially when he said to me after that that thing
(my camera) has more buttons than a printing press!!!!!!!!"
Indeed Andy, but your dad doesn't have to operate a printing press either.......
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies.....
