Thanks to blogger Gary Corner who visited Marshside this weekend and sent me a selection of pix.

I particularly like the male Stonechat at the sandplant pools.

Iceland Gull over at Knowsley today, so those gulls are really worth checking.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies.....

A nice shot of the Stonechat.
Good to see photos showing background/habitat. You can certainly see where this one was snapped.
Most stuff nowadays seems to be in your face and close up, perfect portraits but no sort of "birdwatching character".
What was it with, a digital SLR?
Two Buzzards, but absolutely "muck common" ones at Hundred End on Sunday. Two Peregrines, a Marsh Harrier and a Merlin as well. No Kestrel though in the area since the post breeding "flock" moved on,
Cheers,
Ron
ps b-----r the gales! My garden fence sections keep getting blown out!

Thanks for your comments , its my wifes christmas present a little digital kodak c433 she doesnt know i borrowed it unfortunately the batteries didnt last long.It takes two AAs .I could have had a great shot of a peregrine in the tree at the side of sandhide, typical.Ive just bought a spotting scope, an opticron IF classic and the camera lens fits perfectly into the scopes eyepiece for digiscoping but im still experimenting.Hope this helps.
