Chris Felton counted 1,000 Barwits, and female Merlin along the shore between Ainsdale and Birkdale on February 5th.
He also found 11 dead Razorbills.
Around Haskayne between Feb 6th and 9th, Derek Williams had 3 Buzzard, 16 Reed Bunting, 80+ Skylarks, 19 Coot (almost half of 'em on Downholland Brook), 2 Ravens, 61 Corn Bunting, 16 Blackwits and on Feb 6th, 130 Golden Plover at 9.45am, then 500 at 2.30pm.
There were also two pairs of Stonechat in the Haskayne/Altcar area, and 600 Lapwing.
