Two days on the marsh

Neill's been out at Marshside again...

I'll hand over to Mr Hunt and a selection of his stunning pix - thanks for the info and pictures Neill...

Hi John, bin out at the marsh over the last couple of days tryin to make the most of the high tides, reasonable results.
Most unusual birds seen included;
2 Little Stints from Nells.
1 Turnstone and 1 Grey Plover also from Nells.

2 Merlin.
2 Short Eared Owls, runnin from the tide.

3 Little Egrets, all on the outer marsh.
Green -Winged Teal.(wednesday)

27 Ruff, Nells.
As well as the above I also had a good bag of other stuff ,
Dunlins, plenty of Black Tails, Avocets galore, stacks of Golden Plover, Lapwings doing a lot of lovin! 2 dodgy Barnacle Geese, still lots of Pink Feet (crossens outer). All the normal ducks etc with the exception of Scaup, they all seem to have gone now.(1 female present Tuesday)
Still no migrants though, hopefully we'll get something this weekend as the weather looks to getting a bit warmer.
