Looked so good last night as the rain battered down and the wind blasted in off the Irish Sea - a seawatch was a must today, so I got down to Ainsdale beach for about 12.15 and set up.
Net result after two hours of wave contemplating: 9 Gannets and a Sandwich Tern.
Kill me now.
Bazzo fared marginally better (but not by much) off Formby Point, with a few Manxies and an Arctic Skua powering north.
That's seawatching I suppose.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies...

SORRY EVERYONE BLOG SERVER HAS GONE AGAIN!
The finest IT minds in Trinity will be examining it again tomorrow, when with the flick of a switch, or the whack of a 7lb lump hammer, the situation should be rectified.
In the meantime, thanks for your patience!
