Rich Steel sent me more of his incredible seabird shots, this time after a trip to the RSPB's reserve at Bempton Cliffs on the east coast.
He gets about a bit doesn't he?

Anyway, I couldn't resist posting more of his shots (the link to his site is on the right hand side of the page).

Another excuse for putting more of Rich's stunning shots on the blog is that, in case you haven't noticed, it's beginning to blow a bit out in the bay again, and while the tides aren't particularly high later in the week, a seawatch may prove fruitful.

While I'll doubtless have a chance of Gannets, Razorbills, Fulmars and Kittiwakes off Formby Point - a few close-up previews before setting the scope up can't hurt

Thanks again for sending the pix Rich.

Seawatchable tides at Formby from Friday to the following Thursday, but at this point only Friday looks a goer, with showers and moderate SW winds; Saturday/Sunday a washout (literally) with useless SE winds
