Great White Egret at Marshside

Thanks to Neill Hunt for his cracking pic of the Great White Egret at Marshside today.

Neill also sent me his shot of Glossy Ibis on the marsh - still present today too.

I pointed out the GWE to a "beginner couple" (retirees I guess like me) in Sandgrounders yesterday evening and also showed them a Little Egret.
"Must be a young one" was the sotto voce comment from Mr. Birder. Don'tcha love 'em!
40 Pintails (eclipse) dropped onto the Banks floods yesterday.
