Thanks to Steve Young for sending me this pic of an ex-Little Auk at Crosby Marina.
Found by Pete Kinsella on Wednesday this week.
"Could've done with this one alive and kicking," says Steve. Indeed.
To see more of Steve's pix (of live birds) go to his website here
And that's about it - now six Snow Buntings on Ainsdale beach, still way down at southern end.
Redwings and Oystercatchers, calling Tawny Owl during nocturnal birding sesh this evening - and Peregrine over The Strand in Liverpool today.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies....

Hi John, had a strange one on Friday afternoon, a woodcock flying over Crosby at 3pm.

If you think that's bad, whatever you do, don't look at Dave Mansell's pics on the entry of 6.11.06 in the archives...

First I went to June 6th, 2006 because we Americans have everything backwards and thought, "there's really nothing that tear jerking about these."
Then I realized it was November of 2006 that you meant and OH THE HORROR!
