The pic pretty much says it all.
Pictures are worth 1,000 words you know.
Probably my favourite shot of 2007, taken by colleague Richard Williams.
I've been stoating around on the east coast today (24/12)...not much to report - hordes of Fieldfare, nice roost of 800+ Blackwits, a single Avocet, 2 Dunlin and 100 Lapwing at Killingholme Haven, near Immingham on the Humber estuary.
They say Grimsby is the ****hole of the world.
Immingham is seven miles up from it.
Already drunk the festive stash of Peroni, off to find some more I hope...(Santa can you hear me????)
Hope you all have a great Christmas.
Eyes to the mince pies everyone, eyes to the mince pies...
