Life thro' Tropical's lens

Shaking off the festive sloth, Tropical Thomason kindly sent me these pics - one from his garden, the other from Birkdale dunes.
Over to the Homeresque birding genius that is Tropical:

"Finally nailed this Blackcap that's been feeding on me fat balls since pre Christmas.
Birkdale reserve is quite quiet this winter with just the odd single Blackcap, about 20 Redwing, 150 Fieldfare.
No other wintering warblers this year - so far, although good count of Bullfinch with 8."

Found 3 Jack Snipe and 15 Common Snipe in usual area in the reserve last week.
C u for a sesh on Friday?
Tropical.

Thanks for the pix Trops, as for the sesh, count me in.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies...

Happy to Amila - looking at your site, I think your birds and butterflies may generally be a bit more colourful than ours - I'll swap you a female Reed Bunting for a Yellow Fronted Barbet....
