Steve White just sent me the latest newsletter on the current atlassing project for Lancs and North Merseyside (I can almost hear Mad Dog Bannon slavering...), here's the link to the pdf...Newsletter 2 v1.pdf"
Enjoy all.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies.

I went for a walk from Crosby Baths to Hightown this morning, and at 10 past 12 I watched a low flying Osprey come in off the sea at the Alt estuary and continue inland over Hightown. The only other thing of interest was a big fat Fox Moth caterpillar ambling across the path.
John Mercer had a male Redstart by the railway at Fishermans path today. I'd say that's quite early up here?
Marshside quiet. Gargly still on M1, where also an influx of two Alpaca.
Had a Comma Butterfly on Wicks Lane footpath on Thurs. 8th.
