
Didn't get onto Plex today after work, which may have been a mistake given the number of heavy showers in the afternoon - just the thing to bring birds down onto the fields...
Yesterday there were still 8 Whimbrel feeding and preening in the young crops, with some quite close to the track for a change.

Still a few Wheatears out there, with more Swifts on the move now - a pair have returned to Dempsey Towers this weekend, hopefully more to follow.
Left the mosses to the regulars before the next downpour.

More Swallows moving today, and more Swifts too, with good numbers of Dunlin off the Green Beach.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies...
