All things being well, and allowing for the usual jiggery pokery and typical amateurish bumbling about on the other side of the globe, we (me, Neill, Trops, Bazzo and Mickey "Boy" Stocker) should soon be safely home from our latest misguided adventure.
This time we've been to Thailand, so we could be forgiven for not keeping in touch with what has been going on locally.
I genuinely hope you have had more than the majesty of the Coot to admire these last few weeks.
With that in mind, please let us know what we've missed - or what's still about, using the "Comments" thingy.
And huge thanks to Mrs D for looking after the blog while we've been away.
Eyes to the skies everyone, eyes to the skies...

Hi John, looking forward to the report and stories of the latest trip. Snow Bunting still north on Ainsdale beach, summer plummaged Sanderling was very odd. 2 Blackcap in the scrub on the Coast Rd.
Birding in Thailand! Luuurvly!
Flock of 60-70 Waxwings on Townsend Lane today, just past the TA Barracks, easily viewable in the trees on the central reservation.
Tony
Raven on the fields west of Haskayne Cutting.
1 Jack Snipe in the dunes south of Shore Road, Ainsdale this morning.
Large numbers of gulls roosting on the Green Beach between Ainsdale and Birkdale this afternoon in the hooley.
Believe the Snow Bunts are still about, ain't had a chance to go look for 'em yet.
Got some video footage of the hunting Barn Owl at Martin Mere. Taken from "Ron Barker's" so no audio 'cos of the blatherskites.
You can watch it on YouTube at:
